More On Building Your Website...

There are not many website configurations or templates that I recommend using. That is, unless you are comfortable jiggling with HTML and CSS.

Some web templates are heavily laden with Flash animations and the biggest issues come in the web development (customization) of those templates.

Sites that are too cluttered with no clear objective or logical "flow" are going to bomb famously. So, your main aim is always to keep sites clean, simple and hopefully a delight to your readers and visitors.

If I had to point you towards useful programs, I would have to say get XSitePro or SiteBuildIt.

XSitePro is huge but quite easy to use if you have some time to read the "How To" sections.

SiteBuildIt is also huge and comes with more than just the ability to design a website. You should try this if you prefer to have all your eggs in one basket... to see what I mean by that visit the site and read up. At a cost of around $1 day (paid in advance) it's pretty good value.
